A little about Sweet Onion Creations

Great ideas sell themselves. We exist solely to help you translate your ideas into objects. We want your clients to get excited and at the same time better understand your design.

Sweet Onion Creations was founded on 2 simple principles:

1. Make it easy. Our goal is to take the hassle out of model making. You simply upload the file online to our website and leave the rest to us. We use online project management tools to keep you in the loop on our progress through timelines, pictures, and message boards.

2. Make modeling efficient. It used to be that going to 3D was a painful, time intensive process. We drastically reduce this time component for you. Finally, no more all-nighters trying to get foam board to bend correctly.

Our Goal
We’re not so much in the modeling business but rather the communication business. Our ultimate goal is for the client to understand your design or vision.

Our Philosophy
We believe we should have fun at work and respect the environment in our dealings. Sweet Onion Creations is located in Bozeman, Montana which is known for its variety of outdoor activities. We enjoy this pristine environment and therefore want to have the lowest possible impact.

The technology we’ve chosen to provide this service is known for waste of around 3% per model. The benefits of this are twofold: only the true amount of product needed is used and raw material costs are low for building the model. Check out our sustainable modeling section to learn more.
