We've been incredibly fortunate to count Google among our clients and friends.  One of the goals for the SketchUp team is to get folks using the software in different ways.  To that end, they teamed up with Dwell Magazine to run a contest called, "Design Your Dwelling."  The winner was none other than Drew Wilgus - one very talented young architect from North Carolina.

As part of the winning prize for the contest, we said we'd throw in a scale model of whatever the winner designed.  We love these types of projects, as it let's us stretch our creativity a bit and see what we can push for fabrication methods.  Below is a short video showing the process from start to finish using Drew's .skp file to drive the 3D printing.
