What’s a Blog?
If you’re new to blogging, consider it just another way to get information. (Only it’s faster, much more targeted to what you’re interested in, and hopefully a bit less stuffy than traditional media.) The world is changing at breakneck speed and a blog is the best way to get dispatches from the front lines.
Recently, the Wall Street Journal ran an article on the new Windows Vista platform coming out. And they turned to bloggers to find out what was really happening with people’s experiences. The most interesting part? A 12-year old in Toronto who is a whiz at Windows and blogs about his experiences, was highlighted by the Journal in detail. Now the experts on a topic can be any age, anywhere in the world.
Which is why Blogs are great for one simple reason: You can stay up to date in your field, with less effort, and be able to spot and take advantage of trends.
